Wonderful quirky property, beautifully decorated. Only two minutes walk from the Lake Ashi sightseeing cruise boat dock. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Very helpful hosts.

Very large room, with everything you need (except coffee! For which you have to pay!) The staff is really very welcoming and kind, even for Japan which has already such a high standard It's in the middle of nowhere... Not really In nature either.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had. I wish I could give it more than 10 if I could. Everything was very beautiful like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to attend to our needs. We had some problem at the train station. The staff, Masaki-san, went to pick us up and helped explain to the train station personel about our situation. They also dropped us off where we needed to go with some good recommendations. The hot spring in the room was insanely beautiful. The public bath was comfortable and the food was beyond delicious. Words cannot explain how happy I am with the experience and I will definitely come back again when I have a chance.

It was the highlight of our trip to Japan! We had an amazing time. The staff were wonderful, they made sure we had an amazing experience. I can’t fault anything. We will definitely be back. We also loved that we can hear the waterfalls from our room and it felt so peaceful!

Ideal if you want to explore the areas of Hakonne Yumoto and lakes Ashi and Yamanakako. The property was very clean with a scenic garden that you can stare at from the deck at the back of the property. Facilities were great and we really enjoyed our stay. Bonus the great restaurants in Segokuhara which is a very pleasant quiet village near Mt Fuji.
