Location was superb. Not too pricey either, considering I booked the night before! It was a nice stop as I had been on a 5 day road-trip, and this was in between 2 locations for me, which made it convenient to stay at and rest. There is a Lawson across the street, as well as a ramen place. They have a great restaurant downstairs.

More then 500 years onsen was first esperience in my life also we enjoyed first time private onsen with my husband .We had breakfast and diner served in room and it was unforgettable , especially egg cooked in onsen! Amazing location, wonderful atmosphere! Very clean and well prepared, we were left snacks and drinks by the host and felt so excited and welcome there. Amazing value for money too, would definitely recommend staying here! The walk into the centre of town is about half an hour because of the very steep hill leading down to the house which you have to walk up to get out, but it is not any reason not to stay here if that’s feasible for you.

Lovely spacious room, and clean hot springs. The hot springs are open all through the night, so if you want to go in at 4am, you can! The staff were friendly, and the location has lovely views across valleys.

The location was great as it was close to a variety of shops and restaurants. The onsens were very relaxing, clean and comfortable. The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are a great size and very clean. The breakfast menu was delicious and served in a big dining room overlooking the beautiful autumn trees.
