Such a lovely hotel with wonderful staff. The views from the hotel are great, we had a sea view room. We asked for help with a dinner reservation and the hotel found us a fantastic and friendly local restaurant (great tempura!) and also drove us there and back. Also a mention for the outdoor onsen, one of the best we’ve been to. We stayed here 1 night after a day in Hongu and Nachi, it’s a great place to stay close to Nachi. Great value for money too.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip to Nachi Falls and were very pleased! Yes, the hotel and rooms may seem a little outdated, but the care from the owner who greeted us and the wonderful location of the hotel itself smooth out all these minuses! A nice room with two beds and everything you need: a refrigerator, sockets near the bed, a beautiful view of the sea from our windows, the bathroom has everything you need (we also saw that on the first floor you can take consumables, such as disposable toothbrushes and other small things)

The host was really warm and friendly. He offered us his homemade blueberry jam, homegrown blueberries and persimmons. He even went out of the way to fetch us to and fro Kii-Katsuura station. The facilities in the cottage are modern and clean. Not to forget, the breahtaking view of the mountains from the balcony. 10/10 would recommend this.
