Great hotel with beautiful views from upper floors. It was a pleasure to stay. Really nice facilities and helpful staff. Very close to the station, and breakfast was really good.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The beds are larger than we expected. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking was inside the same building and a lot of parking space. The onsen is very nice, too.

The location is near Toyama station, easy access and have a fair space for parking for those who travels with car. The facility was spacious, clean, really worth the money, and have a spacious living room—great for sharing space. Amenities, towels, hair dryer, the cutleries, instruments for cooking and plenty of air condition was great. The staff's response was quick and warm, guiding us through step by step. Definitely worth for the money and will be using it again in the future. Overall, solid 8 stars. Great service, facility and location.

Tateyama is a small settlement which is the start of the cable car section of the Alpine crossing. It is picturesque with lovely forest and big rivers running by. The local train to Tateyama is an adventure in itself and the Alpine crossing was an awesome experience in spite of the huge crowds of people. Tateyama had some options for buying food and places to stay. We enjoyed the best near-nature experience of our trip to Japan there. There were apparently bears about so best to make a noise and keep to well used roads.

It was a wonderful experience for me since this is my first time to snow mountain , the view at Tateyama Kogen Hotel was really stunning . When i checked in it was very foggy and the next morning i just couldn't believe my eyes the ALPS peak is just in front of my room window . It was so close to me . It's really beautiful with the sunrise . Since i went there early 1st May , i can only see the snow wall corridor and the beauty of Kurobe dam . The view is really pretty. oh if you are planning to drive to Ogizawa , don't worry there are plenty of car park but make sure you arrive early . We park our car at Shinano Omachi and took a bus there as afraid can't find parking due to Golden week holiday , I could have drive up there !

The Green View Tateyama near Tateyama Station is a public...

The Green View Tateyama near Tateyama Station is a public hotel, but it was absolutely wonderful (both the food and the hot springs). The view from Bijodaira to Murodo was beautiful, with clear skies from Tengu-daira down. Unfortunately, there was light rain and fog during my stay at Murodo, so I could barely see the scenery, but I've been there three times in the summer, so the views were not an issue. The Hotel Tateyama where I stayed was wonderful. However, as someone over 80 years old and with weakened legs and backs due to COVID-19, walking in the fog was unsettling, perhaps due to the low air pressure at high altitudes and a weak heart. The snow under my feet, partially melted by the rain, was slippery, so I felt unsafe and returned to the hotel to avoid getting lost in the fog.
