I liked that it was super close to the port. I also enjoyed how quiet the area was for when I did go to sleep. I also appreciated the amenities they provide for you to grab whenever you like/need. They have a shuttle service to take you to two of the beaches. that was great cause those beaches are pretty far from hotel if you dont have a car

It had everything I needed for a solo trip, without excesses. Room was simple and clean, few min walk to the beach, nice Japanese breakfast included. They offer free pick up from the port and send you back there for free too. Very flexible in communication and arrangements. Also they have information on excursions, that was very useful to me.

I've been to a lot of hotels in the world and this ranks among the best. The dinners served were Michelin caliber. But what stood out the most for me was the staff. Friendly, helpful, and one of the waitstaff actually took me snorkling to her secret spot. Exceptional!

Excellent place to stay! We went there at the end of May (typhoon season) and we were the only one in the hotel. The day we came they picked us up at the port in a heavy rain, very grateful for that. Also the they we left they drove us to the other port for our ferry. The room is cool with a big tv which was a great thing because we got heavy rain all day. Comfty bed. Its at Aharen beach, literally 40 seconds walking. We had lunch at our hotel - absolutely delicious and very large selection to choose from. Close by is also a convenient store and some other restaurants. We could leave our bags in the room and use facilities until late afternoon. It was a pleasure to stay!

Luxurious hotel with a great location within walking distance of many local restaurants. The staff is extremely accommodating, pick up and drop off at the port was great. The included breakfast was superb! We will def. return if the opportunity allows us. We chose the 2 room suite since our daughter was with us. Beautifully appointed with everything you need.

I was there for five days (planned for seven days to include...

I was there for five days (planned for seven days to include five days of diving), and my stay was cut short by the threat of a typhoon. Tokashiki is quiet - you have to make your own activities, which are water-based. We found a couple of exceptional restaurants and a food truck with great vibes. Lots of friendly locals.

The beach here really is one of the best in Japan, maybe one of the best in the world. Crabs and coral and beautiful seashells everywhere. It's so natural. Beautiful white sand and blue sea. Best of all is under the water. Coral gardens, colorful fish, sea turtles

Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands.

Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands. There are some great spots for swimming, snorkeling, and diving from the shore, but a boat trip will be required for some of the other spots, particularly the northern portion of the island. The roads are narrow, but it's worth touring around the island on some of the back roads for the various views and wildlife.
