We loved our time at the Uji Tea Inn! It was quite easy to walk to the different train stations and amenities. Our hosts were exceptionally lovely and made us feel special during our stay. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.

A beautiful location. Rriver view is outstanding! During cherry blossoms, it should be absolutely magical. The room is a great combination of a traditional ryokan and a modern hotel, has everything you need for comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also were allowed to leave our luggage before check-in. We visited public baths and liked it.

Super close to kyoto station, facility in room is extremely satisfying with microwave, washing&drying machine, two decker refrigerator and enough room for two luggages. The hotel also provides daily cleaning and all equipment like the old days, which I expect for a good hotel this should be offered as a service but not customers wandering around to look for.
