This is a brand new hotel. I recommend that u stay at least 2 nights and have the half-board. The onsen is good as it is situated in the roof top of the hotel. The view of ureshino is great. Dinner buffet comes with free flow of beer and sake. There are also good facilities and lounge whereby you can enjoy reading a book. Free tea and drinks throughout the lounge.

Ureshino is famous for the green tea and the onsen.

Ureshino is famous for the green tea and the onsen. The Ureshino Tea Exchange musuem is 100% worth a visit and don't forget to drink a tea in the cafe! It is amazing quality and very cheap (300 yen for 1 tea) Then I would also recommend Fuji restaurant, they make great Okonomiyake, Yakisoba and many more dishes! Staff is amazing! If you have a car drive up to the mountain to visit the tea fields, 100 % worth it!

The reception lady is super nice, she welcomed us with a warm smile, answered all questions and offered information on the room and facilities, then walked us to the room. A very relaxing stay with in-room onsen, the public bath is good too. Breakfast is adequate, though more types of drinks could be offered in addition to coffee and green tea.

Ureshino is a country town we stayed in while traveling around japan. It was so simple, quiet and cute. It was the perfect spot in the middle of everything and the JR rail stations went everywhere so it was perfect. Bus stations are close, a lawsons down the street, and a train station close by.

Overall, the hotel was a great experience. The staff were warm and attentive. There's a shopping street right behind the hotel, which you can leisurely explore if you have time. The hotel's hot spring water was excellent, and the rooms were well-equipped. There's a comfortable relaxation area on the first floor with complimentary tea and coffee, as well as disposable toiletries. The hotel's Wi-Fi was fast, and I also really liked the elevators – they were very efficient. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Dinner featured fresh sashimi and was a buffet. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, you can also find various restaurants outside within a few minutes' walk, making it very convenient. The hotel has free parking. Overall, it's quite good, and the price is acceptable. I would recommend it!

The onsen baths were amazing - one large indoor, 2 outdoors with 2 additional ceramic tubs, and an expansive view of the surroundings. We booked a traditional room, so had to make our own futons which the kids loved helping to set it up. We were travelling the Kyushu region for the last 12 days, and definitely the best hotel breakfast we have had. It’s an old hotel, but it looks like internal renovations were done. A quaint old world feel.. jazz music was in the lobby and at the bath foyer.

I decided to stay overnight at Ureshino before heading to Sasebo and it was definitely a good decision. The hotel is conveniently located near the station with different shops nearby. There is a 24 hour supermarket if you need to grab anything. Free parking available just outside of the hotel entrance. The room is very spacious with good layout. The only issue is that the name of the hotel may give away the wrong impression that within the hotel it has onsen facilities, which it doesn’t.
