Kikori House is beautiful, it is very well designed and impeccably clean. Everything is made out of wood and of top quality. The kitchen is very well equipped. The veranda is a wonderful place to sit. The house was always cool although it was hot outside. No need of air conditioning. The staff of the wood shop next door was extremely helpful and friendly. The owner always communicated immediately with the help of an English translation. We really liked our stay.

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV.

The magic starts with the "welcome ceremony" and never ends. The Ryokan is amazing with wonderful onsens and a nice bridge over the mountain river. The dinner was simply incredible.
