We had such a lovely stay in this guesthouse, and we were so well taken care of. It is well equipped with a kitchen, living room and bedroom. And the view is so pretty! A perfect place for calmness. Thank you!

Do not miss out on the opportunity to stay at this amazing property. The owner Sayuri and her family are incredible and kind hosts. The town itself is beautiful to walk around to and to shop for souvenirs, and our entire stay (2 nights) were a wonderful opportunity to authentically experience a slice of traditional Japanese culture away from busy tourist destinations. We used the house as our base to explore Kanazawa and Shirakawa-Go by car - there is free parking nearby the property and we found the surrounding area beautiful. Sayuri recommended us many restaurants and places to visit based on our preferences including an amazing Yakitori restaurant about a 10min drive away. When we arrived we were very lucky to have our accommodation upgraded due to the property being free and it was DIVINE! It is finished to a incredibly high standard and we loved the beautiful tatami mat rooms, the wonderful hinoki bath to experience a private onsen overlooking the lovely courtyard garden. We slept so well and felt so looked after. It feels like we hit the jackpot finding this place and experiencing it. By the end of the trip Sayuri felt like a friend and we can’t wait to return in the future. We were pleasantly surprised to recieve a choice of welcome drink and have a traditional breakfast included. After we checked out Sayuri invited us to have coffee in the main building which is also incredibly beautiful and stylish, it’s like stepping back in time. She also owns a clothing store next door, repurposing old and beautiful kimono into a range of clothing and accessories of which we bought a few items and will treasure them for years to come.

JAL hotel is amazing and has exceeded our expectation. The room was nicely sized but even better thing is that it was designed for practical use. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has a sperated shower and a bathtub glassdoor up from the toilet and sink area- pretty big comparing to the standard Japanese hotel bathroom size. The breakfast was great, many option foods ranging from traditional to classic American breakfast.

Fantastic design, very clean, fresh towels every day, comfortable, loved the huge wooden bunkbeds. I think it was the best hostel I ever stayed in.

the biggest hotel room although the cheapest along my trip to Japan. very near to toyama station. just infront of each other. located at the centre of toyama city. good choice.

For breakfast, a score of 10 is low. So much varied and abundant food served in beautiful dishes and in a beautiful presentation. Worth the entire visit to the city.

The staffs are helpful, location is super convenient, hot spring room is super clean and breakfast is excellent

Great place and very friendly stuff! The only thing that could be better is that there is no laundry place in the hotel, but there is a small laundry place very close to the hotel so it was convenient for us!

The hot bath was just amazing. While staying in Toyama we went to the Mount Tate. So after the whole day of wolking and freezing it was a pleasure to come back to Dormy Inn Toyama and to spend the evening in hot water, chilling and enjoying. The whole room is arrange very comfortable and welcoming. Having an ice after the bath and browse through some manga books was a very calming ending of a nice day. Also the breakfest is worth mentioning - very varied and delicious.
