Staff were very friendly & helpful. Hotel is nice and central. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Conference room was very well setup. Supermarket over the road, bank next door, bakery around the corner, plenty of other shops and university campuses nearby.

The food The food the food: I loved fresh indigenous cuisine even though western cuisines were as delicious as the local menu. The hospitality of staff : exceptional The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with Safe, fridge, office table, aircon, tv and gorgeous balcony. The compound is green and well kempt…lots of seating and work space WiFi was very fast and reliable (whenever it was there😂)

Lago Resort is located in a very beautiful peaceful area on a hill with an incredibly nice view over whole Kisumu and the lake. I first booked 3 nighs, but I liked it so much that I stayed for 1 whole week. The owner, Mr. Daniel, is really very friendly and he knows a lot about many things. I enjoyed talking with him. He is also a very good cook and makes delicious food! Also the room and the bed are very comfortable and cleaned daily. My stay here was the best in Kenya and I would love to come back one day!!
