The checkin staff (cant recall her name) was very friendly and accommodating. She made sure I was comfortable and settled in well. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with everything I needed for my stay.

This was my first time at Imperial since Sarova acquired the hotel and I'm in awe. First, the service was absolutely exceptional. Everyone from the hotel security, reception, housekeeping and even the waiter staff was incredibly hospital. The rooms were completely overhauled and that scary old carpet is gone. The rooms are fresh airy and clean, with fresh towels and robes, slippers and high-quality yet sustainable toiletries. Sincere thanks to Nelly and Mercy at the front desk, the GM as well as Biko who assured us of the Sarova standard and fully delivered.

We had a third floor room with lake view and balcony which we appreciated very much. We had breakfast on the balcony in the morning to watch the monkeys in the forest between Hotel and Lake - not recommended. They paid us a visit and we had to move inside. The swimmingpool was refreshing, staff was very nice and responsive.

The food The food the food: I loved fresh indigenous cuisine even though western cuisines were as delicious as the local menu. The hospitality of staff : exceptional The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with Safe, fridge, office table, aircon, tv and gorgeous balcony. The compound is green and well kempt…lots of seating and work space WiFi was very fast and reliable (whenever it was there😂)
