What was specially good were the breakfast and the beds, in this hotel. The staff showed high degree of professionalism and know what they do. Kitchen has excellent skills on many dishes. Rooftop area is really nice in late afternoon.

Okay we might be a bit biased, because we keep coming back ... and every time the staff welcome us with open arms! If you are looking for gold water taps, fancy jacuzzi baths, swimming pools, and a ten pages thick menu card, you need to choose one of the international hotel brand --- and pay twenty times as much! If you are looking for peace and quite, authentic African hospitality, scenic view over Africa's largest lake, Lake Victoria, the mountains and Kisumu City, you definitely should choose Lago Resort! You will pay like like in a budget hotel, but you will have an unforgettable experience, that you cannot find elsewhere. Call the staff before or during your stay, if you have special wishes; they will go an extra mile for you. We will come back again, again, again -- next time with kids, family and friends!
