It is recommended to take a day tour from Busan, but most day tours do not include the museum which is exceptional and really worth it. Gyeongju was kind of empty when we went, so it felt a little too quiet. If we go again we will opt for the day trip, however since we stayed 2 nights, we could see the museum and have dinner at an exceptional place which was highly rated for Korean food (again, which is not possible on a day trip as the buses head back to Busan in the evening).Guest review byDevyaniIndia - 8.0

I enjoyed seeing all the historic sites in Gyeongju.
I enjoyed seeing all the historic sites in Gyeongju. It was very busy when we visited as it was a holiday weekend. We managed to see most of the historic sites but would like to have seen more. Although there is a bus service it was difficult to navigate and buses to local historic sites seemed not to run very frequently. There was a city tour bus but this needed to be booked ahead of your visit. The best transportation was the small golf carts which you could rent by the hour. If I went again I would not choose to go over a holiday weekend as traffic in the city was slow and heavy.Guest review byJulieCanada - 10.0

I found it a very nice starting point for various activities. The main tourist area is about 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff is friendly, the room is spacious and well equipped. The fitness room has the necessary utensils for a workout, but nothing over fancy.
