It is a clean and quiet location in a rural area. I used it to arrive early at Baekdamsa Temple. I think it is best suited for families with a car.

The atmosphere. A decadent dive in the 90s and 00s of a british themed hotel. The dining room is adorned with Diana and Charles photos. Even the menu is stuck in 1999. Felt like being a teenager again. Also is there another hotel in the world that let you sit in the driving seat of a real doubledecker?

The views from the room were amazing! Check in was easy. There were a lot of restaurants that were in walking distance.

As many other reviewers point out, the hotel is quite old and the rooms are quite basic. That being said, everything was clean and you can tell this used to be a resort hotel. The surroundings are really fantastic - with direct access to the shortest trail up to the mountain peak. Beware that the hike is ~1300 m of elevation and can take 7 or so hours. It will take a toll on your legs. Going back the hotel, the absolute best thing we took the most advantage of were the baths. The spa facility was really wonderful with different baths and hot springs to choose from. Well worth it for a nature stay with some exercise and some quality relaxing.

This place it great! It is close to the national park, the rooms are big, well heated and have heated floors and the people are super friendly and proactively helpful :)
