A large modern property in a very rural town. The facilities were spacious and clean. The host was lovely and attended to all of our needs. She provided us with a microwave and kettle when we had our own food and with delicious breakfasts and dinner at other times. Although we could not communicate verbally, we managed very well by using Google translate. The internet did not work at times so we would recommend you download the Russian pack prior to arriving. The electricity was out for a few hours but this was not a problem for us at all as it was during the day and we were out exploring the local attractions such as Kolsay and Kaindy lakes.

It is a luxury yurta, with all amenities of a very nice accomodation (heating, private toilet and shower, nice and big room, wifi) but also the advantages of being immersed in the nature, with a transparent ceiling to admire the sky and a very nice view of the river and the mountains. The owners are lovely, taking good care of everything, from cleaning to preparing dinner and breakfast, always with a nice smile. Kolsay lake is just 3 minutes drive so I highly recommend staying here for the night and appreciating the peaceful environment.

Fantastic stay! I’d highly recommend to all. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. Good offered was delicious and reasonable. Also, it’s a 5 minute drive from both Kaindy entrance and Kolsai Lakes. A cracking spot to base yourself for those spots and a good taste for Kazakhstan!

Amazing location and the rooms are in excellent conditions - everything is clean and nothing is missing! It was very warm inside but the temperature was adjusted upon request. Unfortunately, the restaurant was missing a lot of dishes due to the winter season though.

Perfect location ! About 30 walk of the lake ! There is even a cave to visit on the way. Food both dinner and breakfastincluded Homemade food ! Clean and and everything we needed in the room ! The lady was really friendly and helped us with everything we needed !

Comfortable and cozy yurt, with generous and tasty breakfast and dinner. Also had a hot shower! Host were lovely and helped organise transport to Kaindy lake. Accommodation is also very close to Kolsai lakes. Hosts also had a very cute kitten :)

We were blown away by the hospitality of Eldos and his family. They were very accommodating. They have a cute farmhouse on the main road running through Saty, and this self-contained unit is in their backyard. The place was clean and can easily sleep four people. We were served delicious and filling breakfast every morning. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bathroom is modern and neat (with a waterfall shower!). There is hot water, central heating, and an air conditioner. Eldos can also drive you to Kolsay Lakes, Kaindy Lake, Charyn Canyon, and even drop you off at Almaty, all for a very reasonable price. Though Eldos doesn't speak English, we used Google Translate with him with no issues. You can easily reach him through WhatsApp. We highly recommend his place!

    no access to indian food hence we preferred self catering as we wiuld love to stay here long. for short stay the food they serve is very good and tasty. cafes nad restaurents nearby. we had to eat at the accomodtaion all three meals. mustis a vehicle to get around the region. minimum two night staynsi necessary to enjoy explore the region but ideally 4/5 nights especially if you are nature lover and prefer to be in isolated place being one with nature
