Excellent service from all staff, from reception to breakfast and the Stella Bar. The hotel has a great location with a beautiful river view. I had hoped for a room with a river view, but I still enjoyed the stunning scenery from the Stella Bar. Highly recommend trying the signature cocktails at the rooftop Stella Bar—each one is a delight! The Thai manager and her team are exceptionally welcoming, and the food, both at breakfast and at the Stella Bar, is fantastic. I will definitely visit again!

Wow! What can I say? There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this property. I would love to keep the secret of this wonderful place all to myself but that would be unfair to all those whose amazing efforts have brought this hotel to such an outstanding level. We have travelled throughout the UK, USA, Europe and extensively in SE Asia and we have never visited a better property than the Souphattra Heritage Hotel. The combination of a sympathetic heritage design, understated elegance and fine attention to detail, make this a 5 star + hotel. Everything is designed to offer luxury and privacy. From the marble and brass bathroom thyme to the old fashioned herring bone tiling techniques, it all comes together to create an amazing tasteful environment. The rooms are bright airy and spacious with high quality bedding and accessories. The facilities include a coffee shop, two restaurants, spa and beautiful pool area. All these areas continue to provide the same understated elegance common to the entire property. The staff all maintain the highest standards of professionalism while remaining engaging and friendly. Special thanks must go to Nouna, Nounee and Tookta who made our evenings at the bar such an entertaining and enlightening experience. My number one choice of hotel – ANYWHERE!!!! 📍Location: very central, close to night market and very safe walking at night time. Very close to the airport (7-9 minute drive depending on traffic) so overall the location suited my needs perfectly! 🛌 Room: excellent bed, well functioning air conditioning, super bathroom amenities and complimentary water much appreciated. I slept very well at night even given how central the location is. 🧖‍♀️Spa: I opted for a spa package 1 hour traditional Lao massage and 1 hour facial treatment and was so delighted with the experience. 🍽️ Breakfast: included in room rate, breakfast buffet had a variety of western and Asian options to suit all tastes and service was very efficient. I also had a negroni at their bar and it was probably the nicest negroni I’ve ever had. 🌟 Staff: The staff here are welcoming, friendly and attentive. It made all the difference.
