The hotel was very good quality, maybe ***+. Room was a big, ideal for family (2 kids), separably rooms, large LED TV, super WIFI, extremely clean. In the room was for free coffee and tea. Large shower. From my point of view everything was excellent.

We loved staying at Hotel Schatzmann! Right from the beginning we were recommended things to do in Liechtenstein. Our room was clean and big and had a lot of small nice touches like cookies for everyone in the family and a Nespresso machine. The room was big and had a balcony, which my husband and I enjoyed in the evenings when we watched the sun set. The weather was hot and as Liechtenstein does not allow air-condition, I was a bit worried about the room being stuffy and sleep being difficult. The room never got so hot though and we had a fan in the room so the heat didn’t bother us at nice. I was also worried that it would be too far from Vaduz, but we even walked to the centre once. It’s not far at all and the bus leaves just a short walk from the hotel, if you don’t feel like walking. We all loved the breakfast; there was enough to choose from and everything was very fresh. A lot of the things were home made like the jam, which my son could have eaten with a spoon. Breakfast was served in the beautiful restaurant with white table cloths and nice cutlery. It was very stylish. We didn’t get to have dinner in the restaurant, which we regret now. The staff was absolutely lovely; kind, caring, thoughtful. Always ready to help. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, please stay here! You will love it.

Its too late to come to Malbun for cross country skiing at the beginning of March. We were hopeful for some snow still but all was gone already and unlike in some Swiss resorts there is no snow farming in Malbun/Steg.

Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains.

Excellent place for exploration of nearby mountains. I choose it for hiking and found many trails. Unfortunately it was heavy snow at the end of September so I recommend summer for hiking around Malbun. Nature around is great!

I visited in August and the weather was perfect for hiking.

I visited in August and the weather was perfect for hiking. Not alot of tourist so there was no waiting in lines. The ski lifts were working to take you up the mountain for great views and hiking. This was my 2nd time to visit Malbun and would go back again. The spa at Hotel Turna was wonderful,especially after a day of hiking.

Despite the friendly receptionist (who was present even though you normally have to check in yourself), the sterile hotel was barely adequate for one night. It's definitely not suitable for cyclists – no bike storage, no laundry service, no dryer, and a cheap breakfast. Overall: not recommended and far too expensive.

The place seemed very sleepy.

The place seemed very sleepy. We had actually planned to go skiing here. Unfortunately, the weather ruined our plans. There's no supermarket, only overpriced small shops. Ice skating is possible :-) much to the delight of many children. The ski rental shop is absolutely not recommended. The owner was very unfriendly and rude.

Malbun is a beautiful little mountain destination.

Malbun is a beautiful little mountain destination. Outside of peak season, it's also very good in terms of price and space. Liechtenstein, of course, has a much wider price range than one might otherwise expect.

Location is great! It’s just next to Bus Stop. The hotel is very clean, i booked for shared bathroom but it was only for 2 rooms. The staffs are very kind as well. From Vaduz Post Bus Stop, ride the Bus 21 Malbun, the bus is every 1 hr, and you will reach Malbun in 30 mins. Be sure to bring up some food or snacks before heading up, though there is one vending machine near the hotel, but there’s not much.

Accommodation far surpassed expectations, very high standard of room provision including welcome pack and fresh fruit on room. Bathroom facility spacious with his her basin and double shower facility. An Alpine ski hotel positioned immediately by a ski lift operated throughout the year for walkers and skiers alike.

Excellent location, right at the start of a popular mountain hike. Easy drive up from Vaduz and parking right by the property. The hotel has a very good restaurant with locally sourced food, such as venison. All the staff are extremely friendly.
