Amazing experience stayed here for one night.Very friendly and helpful staff.The food here was delicious and the portions are very filling.The view is amazing,even we could see the sunrise from our room balcony.we were in the top rooms.The room was very clean and was so big for two .The WiFi is available in the rooms.And truly we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cabin beside the river. We stayed in the most crowded time in the year for the Adan’s Peak pilgrimage and and couldn’t hear a single noise from the cabin terrace, only the water flowing. The staff is warm and very friendly. Super

The hospitality and kindness of the family was really touching. The house is very clean and brand new , you get a large room and large bathroom and there is a living room with sofa and dining table. The place was just 5 minutes walk to the adams peak trail head. Near the house there are a few fancy and local restaurants with mostly foreign tourist. I had , dinner ,breakfast and lunch with the family and the food was so delicious and in a large portion. Also the bus from maskeliya stops very close to the house frequently throughout the day.There is also a bus to colombo at 5.30 am from there which the family even walked me to and i am so grateful to them. This is the perfect and calm place to spend a few days while you are climbing the adams peak

    Besides doing the incredibly beautiful hike to Adams Peak, you can hire a tuktuk driver to guide you to Morey's Waterfall. the best waterfall we got to hike to in Sri lanka, challenging 1 hour hike but you'll get to stroll thru lush tea plantations and walk along side Lake Morey.

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be...

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be able to reach the top. It was over-crowded and the path is narrow the last 500 meters. Got stuck in one spot for 45 minutes and decided to turn around. Still got amazing views though and the experience of local pilgrimage which was a privilege!

    This location is very traditional and historic for Buddhists. People from all around the world visit this place, making it an excellent place to relax in today's stressful life. You can witness stunning sunrises and see many beautiful waterfalls in the surrounding area.

    At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you...

    At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

    Only stayed one night to do an overnight climb of Adams peak Check in at 1pm was perfect - room was ready and clean Immediately upgraded room on arrival for no extra fee Food served was reasonable price and tasty Pool had a good view and easy to access Room clean and fresh towels given

    There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby.

    There is a lake and Tea Gardens nearby. However you cannot visit either of them. You can only drive around and take in the views. What is quite nice is to climb up the Adams' Peak. The climb is good for those who like climbing and hiking.

    Exceptional place with stunning views, amazing host, and a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and the hike + This exceptional hotel offered breathtaking views of the mountains and a nearby river. It was super clean, very comfortable, and the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of nature, from wildlife to the flowing water. The host was fantastic, helping us with a full guidance of climbing the mountain. They even offered us tea at 2 a.m. before climb. Really great service. Breakfast was good and came with the same stunning views!

So glad decided to stay right by the start of Adam's peak, so peaceful and wonderful stay. One of the best hotels we've been in in this price range in Sri Lanka.     We had a comfortable stay here and really enjoyed the dinner cooked for us after our sunset Adam’s peak excursion. The location is great for access to the hike and you can see the peak all lit up at night from the property. Don’t miss visiting the top of Gartmere Falls while you’re here too - the best view we had in all our 6 weeks of Sri Lanka.

    The owner is a very kind person. He helped us organize our adam's peak trek and also has a restaurant open 24 hours a day nearby the hotel. The room was very clean, large and with a hot shower. Everything was perfect. I recommend it, especially for the hospitality of the owner.
