In 1 word 'amazing'. Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.

Me and my wife stay 5 nights at Malu Banna hotel. This place has amazing customer service, rooms are kept clean every day and hotel staf will do anything so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. There are plenty water sport activities here and riwer has only small wawes so you can go watersport at any day. In Malu Banna there is great possibility to have fishing trip to ocean or to local riwer. We had both and catch & eat fish food. Yammy! One person who has to be mentioned is Chatu. Great fisherman with many helpfull tips with my own fishing gear to use and catch fish. Also from here is easy acces to beach as hotel is offering free transport both ways. Bentota beach area has wide sand beach with not that many people there.

We loved the host and their hospitality. The whole family was very friendly and helpful. We booked the room at 4 pm and they made sure we had it available within under 1 hour. The breakfast was amazing and there was nothing to complain about. It was a new property and it was clean and tidy. The host had a Three-wheeler and was always available to drop us anywhere we wanted.

Great apartments right on the river. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Amazing western or Sri Lankan breakfast. Superb hosts very friendly and welcoming. Easy walking distance to beach and resteraunts. The accomodation has its own tuk tuk to take you and bring you back free of charge if you don't want to walk. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The atmosphere is simply amazing. The staff deserves special praise – they are caring, attentive, always smiling, and friendly. They create an incredibly positive vibe and recharge you with energy every single day. The rooms are a delight. Everything is very clean, modern, and cozy. The territory, although not large, is very green and well-maintained, with a beautiful garden. I especially enjoyed the two fantastic pools and the stunning, peaceful view of the river. And of course, the food! It’s not just delicious but also healthy – the perfect combination for a rejuvenating stay, leaving you feeling energized and refreshed. Special mention goes to the Ayurveda center on the hotel grounds – I am absolutely thrilled with it! The super professional team worked with me from morning till evening. I went through all the services listed on their website, and in just nine days, they healed my neck, cured my insomnia, and restored my energy and strength. It was an incredible experience, spending time in complete silence without a phone. This place has left me with the warmest impressions, and I will definitely come back again!
