Lovely, comfortable hotel in Walapane. We loved everything about it. Our room with ensuite bathroom was fabulous, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and both were delicious. Highly recommended.

The whole experience was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a refreshing freshly made drink and flowers. The food was made from fresh local ingredients most of the coming from their own kitchen garden. Staff were very helpful in helping us find the location as it is secluded and away from the main town which makes it very pleasant and relaxing location. We woke up to an amazing view and natural atmosphere. There are not many restaurants around but the food made my the chef at the bungalow was very delicious.

The staff is nice, I do not remember the name but the girl was so nice to the guest, she offered us coffee with ginger cookies several times for free. It was the first time we had nice service like that, The boy was also very friendly. The food is awesome, the best dinner and breakfast we had during our stay in Sri Lanka.

The most beautiful and hospitable hotel ived visited globally , food excellent, staff superb , rooms clean . Food again I cannot rate highly enough. This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend. The accommodation is beautiful. It has a lot of charm with the stones and the wood. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. It was 14 degrees outside an it did have a radiator, which we were happy to use. The bed was very comfortable and the accommodation was clean. There was a multi-plug socket in the room where several plugs fit so we didn't need an adapter.

We loved our stay with Roshan and Amali. The location was great - up the hill with nice views and quiet from the busy town (easily walkable, but Roshan also dropped us a few times). Roshan and Amali know good local food spots and helpful with their knowledge, we even had a nice dinner together out with their friends which made our stay. I’d recommend staying here, it’s great value for money in the area, and the hosts are very kind.
