I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around. Stafford Bungalow is quite simply outstanding! We spent three unforgettable days there and will most certainly return as soon as possible. Besides the breathtaking beauty of its surroundings, and the cuisine that is out of this world, Stafford is run by the most incredibly meticulous, friendly and endearing team of staff. Where to begin? The garden is absolutely beautiful—an ideal place to relax and unwind. The staff were wonderfully attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel completely at home. Even though we stayed only one night, we left feeling deeply refreshed. The food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
