At the same time, it is centrally located between Weligama and Ahangama, making it easy and quick to reach both. The hotel owner, Enrico, is a super friendly guy who genuinely cares about his guests, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment. You can also rely on him for great recommendations on the best restaurants and other nice spots. Thank you for making our stay amazing! Everything about The Find was great! The room was spacious with plenty of room to store your things, and the interior looked exactly like in the pictures (just a note that not all rooms have a hammock). The views from the balcony overlooking the ocean were absolutely stunning. You can also enjoy sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though the hotel is located next to the main road, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The beach is right next to the hotel, and you can swim directly from the property, just be mindful of the rocks. And there's of course pool as well. And as a bonus, I had the best coffee and coconut of my whole trip here! The hotel truly stands out from the rest – super chill vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and just an all-around amazing atmosphere. Miles has done a fantastic job creating this space. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️

Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.

The staff at the nine are incredible, every single person we met. I wish we had asked for more names, but every single person was AMAZING. So caring and attentive. Myself and my partner Haran, will be back and we will bring our Family and Friends. The location is amazing, the staff amazing, the food amazing. This place deserves the success it will get because everyone works so hard to make it special. We had regular sightings of Monkeys and Peacocks which just made it more special. Well done guys on such an amazing place and for giving us such special memories, see you next year!
