I have stayed in many hotels across the globe, but this was the only hotel where they refilled the mini bar with three soft drinks, one juice, one packet of nuts, and a packet of biscuits completely free of charge. I loved the infinity pool and rooftop garden, delicious breakfast, and their specious lobby. The hotel gave me a free upgrade as a goodwill gesture since I booked for six nights. I enjoyed the sunset from their private beach lounge, which was a moment to cherish. The hotel also arrange a complimentary city tour for their guests everyday. All these touch points were great moments of truth to me. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have travelled to Colombo more than 50 times for various purposes. I always had the issue of getting cold due to changes in the environment, and so on. But this is the first time I didn't have this issue. I think mainly due to the cleanliness of the rooms. Based on the review, I was looking for a clean place to stay. The location is highly convenient. Walking distance from supermarkets, Nolimit and also Fashion Bug. Which made it very easy for me. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

All the best places are away from the capital. But without starting here you miss all the layers of history and culture that inform everything about your whole trip. Start here, and spend some time investigating and exploring. Start in the old town at Dutch Hospital and move out from there.

After what this country has been through, this country...

After what this country has been through, this country surely need lots of financial assistance to redevelop its infrastructure. . There is hardly any lighting on the streets. As the sunsets it's pitch dark. I myself would find it difficult to drive on the roads. Secondly restrooms need to be built.

Unlike olden days, Colombo looks very clean and beautiful. Also noticed less honking on streets, though we still see ruthless behavior of bus drivers and other motorists not respecting road signs or rules. However, in few hours you will realize that is the norm and you will start enjoying it as a passenger. Excellent food and eateries with reasonable prices. You can easily Uber to any place within Colombo with much ease.

Colombo is a great city with lots to experience. The people are friendly, plenty of good museums, churches and temples. I'd say you dont require a long time in Colombo but it is good for shops and eating out. We loved the Gallery cafe. that was super.

Colombo is a great city - big and bustly. I'm glad that we got to stay in the heart of it, but was glad to move on as well! Tuk tuks are the best way to get around the city centre - wherever you stay, your concierge can summon a reliable driver. The Lotus Tower was a great attraction - views over the city from a panoramic platform. There's a restaurant called Nugu Gama at the Cinnamon Grand - if you enjoy authentic Sri Lankan food give them a try. The venue is unusually like a British pub but the food ??? - it has ruined Sri Lankan food elsewhere for me as it was DIVINE!!!! The locals are always hospitable and friendly. Enjoy your holiday - we did.

Colombo is a sprawling metropolis with busy traffic on the roads. There are a few places to visit, if you're in town, but frankly not worth dying for. One is better off visiting rest of this beautiful island nation.

The apartment was absolutely stunning as shown in the pictures. I could have lived in it and The Fab bakery provides delicious food all day. Nuwan was a great host and accessible via WhatsApp. He showed us around, stored our luggage and found us a tuktuk. The hotel is surrounded by shops, banks and restaurants which are useful when you arrive in Sri Lanka. The Fort and centre of Colombo are just 10 mins away by tuktuk.

Location was great nice places to eat opposite hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom newly renovated with good water pressure. Good little gym on site. Would recommend a room with balcony as it was nice to sit out and watch people below. Liked the rooms were serviced and free filtered water provided. Good airport transfer at a reasonable price. Great place to start Sri Lanka holiday.
