This review hardly does justice to the incredible experience we had during our stay. The property is a work of art in itself, with meticulously designed gardens and exquisite attention to detail. Every corner of this boutique retreat is a photo-worthy moment waiting to be captured. The staff at Casa Heliconia are genuinely exceptional. From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests. The level of attentiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the team was truly remarkable. The dining experience at Casa Heliconia was a culinary delight. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The chef's creativity shone through in every dish, and we were constantly surprised and delighted by the flavors and presentations.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a late arrival due to a delayed flight and he was so accommodating and woke up at very early hours to check us in. He also allowed us to stay later than check in to catch up on some sleep. He cooked us a lovely lunch and arranged our transport, very resourceful!

Big room with desk, small sitting area and comfortable bed. The balcony with nice view over the pond is beautiful for relaxing at night. . Everything is very clean. Good food at the restaurant and also the Café Engine. Very nice staff. I have been here several times and will come again. After arrival or before departure at the airport I much prefer Veyangoda instead of the more touristy Negombo.

Very nice, clean and cosy room with incredibly nice, friendly and helpful hosts. The dinner was so delicious! All the vegetables come from their organically grown garden, freshly picked and cooked with fresh herbs and tasty spices. Very much recommended to stay here!

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.
