Great hotel and lovely people! Really good rooms - very clean and well equipped, especially good air-conditioning. Very good pool too. Great location between the two beaches but in a quiet and relaxed area. Very kind and helpful staff.

I had the best time at this lovely homestay in Hiriketyia! It’s a charming place in a beautiful garden, just a few steps from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room was cozy, spotless, and decorated with so much love. The true highlight is the host: incredibly warm, kind, and always there to make sure you feel at home. On top of that, he prepares the best breakfast in all of Sri Lanka! it‘s fresh, delicious, and unforgettable! Honey Comb is a real little paradise! I felt completely at home and can’t wait to come back! highly recommended!

Beautiful brand new rooms / modern, very spacious!! Great aircon, and fan and balcony. Staff were truely the highlight of this stay. They organised a bike to rent, the safari trio Yala and someone to take us to Ella. We loved that driver so much we used him for the rest of our trip! We also struggled to find a currency exchange in Sri Lanka, but they organised someone to come the hotel and rate was unbeatable. Anything we asked, they were SO happy to help and did it so quickly. They were so friendly and welcomed us so warmly every time we passed them coming in and out of the resort. Probably my fave place we stay because of the people who run it xx OH and Dickwella beach is right at the end of the drive way and beats Hiriketiya beach by a mile. So much better and much quieter to spend the day.

The Villa is new, just three months old, so everything is in perfect condition. The location is superb, away from the noise and bustle of the main road yet just a very short walk to the supermarket and bakery! The spaces are huge and the inclusion of a kitchenette and refrigerator make it complete! Then there's the host family. So very lovely & helpful throughout my stay. They secured a scooter for me plus an early morning (5am) tuktuk to the train station upon my departure. And, as I was there for the Sri Lankan new year they invited me to have a traditional breakfast with them 🥰🙏

Absolutely a 10/10 experience every time! I’ve stayed here three times now, and each visit has been better than the last. The place itself is cozy, impeccably clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere—it truly feels like a home away from home. But the real highlight is the host! Not only are they incredibly attentive and accommodating, but they also happen to be an amazing chef who genuinely loves cooking. They offer to cook meals for guests, and trust me, you do not want to pass up the chance! This is hands down one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and unique getaway!

Lovely quiet beach -large - next to its much smaller and busier little sister Hiriketiya You can have the best of both worlds if you stay in Dikwella as it is only a km walk ( pleasant ) to Hiriketiya Sunbeds are free if you if you buy a drink We particularly liked Freedom Place at far end by the trees

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of...

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean,...

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

It's a very calm and chilled vibe.

It's a very calm and chilled vibe. Not many beach boys bothering you. The villagers are super friendly. The beach is amazing. There's just something very special about this place. You have to experience it yourself to know.

Easily the best breakfast we’ve had so far! 1 day was Similar to a fry up, and the other was omelette with garlic toast (incredible). Comes with tea and juice! The room is HUGE and had everything we needed. The bed is comfy and room was generally very clean minus a few cobwebs! Excellent location to visit turtle beach & dikwella beach and plenty of restaurants nearby! We’d stay here again ☺️

The staff were super helpful and amazing - did our laundry and got us a tuktuk to our next location at fair prices. The location was perfect, right between both beaches, Dikwella (swimming) and Hiriketiya (surfing).
