I had an amazing stay 🌿 The cabins are beautifully designed, super cozy, and offer breathtaking mountain views. 🏔️ It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. It’s just a 20-minute walk to the upper waterfall, and you can reach the lower waterfall by motorbike – both are absolutely stunning! 💦✨ I also went on two unforgettable hikes in the area, surrounded by incredible nature. 🥾 The hosts were so kind and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. 💛 The only downside was that the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but honestly, that’s a small issue compared to everything else. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back! 🌸

Haputale is a lot nicer than for instance Ella- quiter, less tourists, perfect hiking, etc. And Vantage Hills have a breath taking view of the valley below. The staff is the kindest people possible.

The biggest plus of this place is the people. They fed us upon arrival after a long journey, and then they gave us dinner. It was delicious, without any price gouging or pushy offers. It was so simple and easy. Thank you!

We've been to many 5-star hotels all around the world, and surprisingly received the best hospotality service in this Hotel during our 2 night stay. It's a hidden gem !!! The view is epic from infinity pool. The food is Michelin level perfect. They light up dome fire while you dine outdoors (evenings might be little chill) there are 2 roms with fire place & ready to be fired up upon your request. They even put hot water bags into your bed during evening turn-down service, who expects such thing in the middle of Haputale :) Definetely will come back

This is the most magical place I’ve ever stayed in, atop a mountain, surrounded by tea plantations, nature, pure tranquility. We extended our stay to 3 nights but I could have stayed there much much longer. This is such a perfect place to unwind and recharge, breathe in the cool mountain air and be looked after by a team of truly lovely people who work there. Things to keep in mind: - the property is only reachable by the shuttle they provide. It’s a 40min drive up steep hills and rocky roads. But don’t worry once you get there you will be greeted by freshly brewed tea from their plantation or a nice local gin. - if you are looking for hustle and bustle, this place is not for you - planters house is far away from nearby shops and any type of infrastructure. This is a place for nature lovers, who want to slow down, enjoy the peace, the greenery, mountains, fresh air. - food: there are no shops or restaurants nearby so you will be eating onsite. Food is cooked from fresh every day and they have several choices, both western and Sri Lankan, and it is truly delicious. - there are beautiful hikes you can do from the hotel and if you are adventurous enough you can walk 7.4km to Liptons seat, otherwise the driver will take you up there with the 4x4. - Try and stay there at least 3 night for the full relaxing experience.

Had a wonderful 2 days here. The owner and his family are wonderful. I was collected by the owner and taken to the house. In the afternoon, he took me to see the rock temple. The following day, to see 5 waterfalls (not the standard touristy ones) and a beautiful cave temple, at a very reasonable price. This is the place to stay, to see the real Sri Lanka
