The place is new, so it’s very clean, everything in it is brand new. No smell of dampness. Very comfortable, very good host. The place offers nice breakfast (though breakfast is different every day), washing machine. It’s near the ocean so you can surf just at the same beach. Has a rooftop with ocean view where you can have breakfast and party. It’s really small - it has only two private rooms (and a dorm, but now working yet) so if you book those two rooms you’ll probably be the only guests in there.

One of the best stays I’ve had on Booking.com. The host is a genuinely good guy — always smiling, always ready to help. His family lives downstairs, guests stay upstairs — you get full privacy and peace of mind. The rooms are spacious, with a fan, AC, and hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s always fresh bottled drinking water available. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, covering the entire property — perfect if you work remotely or just want a stable connection for streaming or calls. Every morning starts with jungle sounds — birds, peacocks — peaceful and refreshing. It’s just a 7-minute scooter ride to the center of Weligama, and the road is smooth all the way, so getting around is easy and stress-free. The second floor is kept clean, and they’ll change towels and bed linen upon request. Security cameras cover the yard, so you can even leave your stuff outside without worrying. Solid spot — clean, private, well-connected. Would definitely stay again.
