Beautiful property - the restaurant was beautiful with amazing views, beautiful to eat the delicious breakfast in every morning. The pool was also beautiful and we had an amazing view from our room. Staff was absolutely lovely and super helpful

The host was very nice! He could arrange everything that we wanted. Really clean and nice big room. Very tasy and big breakfast, if you would like to come to Elle I really recommend just staying here. You can even rent a scooter 🛵 with good price.

One of the best stays we have ever had! The manager Richard and his stuff were so nice, friendly and helpful. Just ask them and they will instantly help you to make you feel comfortable. The room was super cozy, clean and quiet. Besides the food at the restaurant is amazing too - best Onion Rings and Rice & Curry! Also a banger breakfest. Definitely would come back again! Thanks Richard and team for the lovely time. 10/10 that's for sure!

Had the most amazing stay here! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They arranged everything we wanted and were very attentive. From the moment we arrived we felt like home. The owners held the most wholesome cooking class for us, would 100% reccomend!

Harish was so welcoming! He gave us advice, did our washing and even let us have a late check out. The breakfast was amazing and the views were absolutely gorgeous. We saw lots of wildlife from the balcony.

    We loved the Mountain View’s.

    We loved the Mountain View’s. The Main Street is a little crowded and all of the walkways are uneven. Everything is on a hill and there is a lot of walking . Stairs do not have handrails. The sites to see in the city are not easily accessible without transportation. Tuk tuk rides are very bumpy. Most of the tourists in the city are young . As an older traveler over 70, I would not recommend this location to an older adult unless you are very healthy and have good stamina for walking, heat, and bumpy rides.

    Ella is in the mountains so there is a lot of walking and lots of stairs and climbing. We saw young back packers as the majority of visitors. It was hot and humid so drinking water was very important. The tea plantation tour was good and informative. The arches trip involved a harrowing drive up a narrow bumpy road. Waterfalls were always full of people. The town is great with lots of dining options and great shops!

    The amazing and perfect nature around Ella is getting over exploited. Too many buildings (hotels in particular) are under construction in the delicate hills of Ella, they should protect the environment as the place will loose its magic if it becomes just some kind of shopping mall / tourist centre. The hotels are already enough, no need for more.

    It's a beautiful place on top of the mountains, surrounded...

    It's a beautiful place on top of the mountains, surrounded by mountains and clouds, just like in a heave. Food was delicious 😋 I can never forget the rice and curry bowl I had at Serenite. It's a perfect place for peace, that relaxes your senses. Ravana waterfall is a must to visit.

    Very friendly and vibrant town.

    Very friendly and vibrant town. The walk up Ella Rock is a must, but make sure you look at an online guide first. We got lost on the way up adding several difficult km's of walking. The trip out to Lipton's seat is worth it for the views along the way as well as from the seat itself. The train to NanuOya is also well worth the ticket price.

    We felt very comfortable during our stay and the team was very accommodating. The food was so tasty and catered to our wishes. The location was perfect for us, a little outside the centre, but you can walk to Ella in 25 minutes on the train tracks or order a Tuktuk. The Kithalella train stop is ideal, from there it is only 200 metres to the hotel. We would definitely recommend the hotel, it really enriched our stay in Ella.

    Nimal really looked after us at our stay. He hand drew my dad a map to hike from the hotel to the top of Ella rock. Room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom. Nice and quiet with great views overlooking the mountains and only a 10 min walk into Ella down the train tracks. Lovely dogs.

    Lovingly renovated property - a real luxury in Sri Lanka, with beautiful rooms and views of Ella Rock! Less than 10 min tuk tuk from downtown but away from all the noise and crowds. The staff were wonderfully friendly and super attentive to any requests.

    Very picturesque and friendly staff, especially Mr Baradi. Breakfast was good. I always ate Sri Lankan. You can order food in the evening as well. The walk into Ella is quick if you follow the railway line. Great views from the top of the hotel.
