The most amazing homestay ever! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Firstly, the room has high ceilings and a beautiful balcony as well as a true king sized bed (one of the comfiest beds I have slept on). Secondly, the family is so kind and helpful. Truly felt like family staying here- they helped me order Uber eats to the house and you also have the option of ordering breakfast, lunch and dinner for an additional cost with the homestay. I ordered breakfast with them and it was delicious and worth the cost! Fresh fruits and omelette and dosas with chutney (there are also continental options). It is about a 15 minute drive to town so you are away from the noise and bustle of Kandy city (after spending time during the day in Kandy I was really happy to have my oasis at night). Tuk tuks to and from the stay cost 600-800 depending on your driver, but Vipul will drive you anywhere you need for a price if you have a hard time getting a Tuk Tuk. Everything was so clean and fresh, the bathroom was modern and I was able to do laundry with them for a small cost as well. I am going to miss this place and will return back if I am ever in Kandy again :)

This boutique hotel has an amazing history, it used to be a private residence 100 years ago. Most of the flooring tiles are original, the place has been beautifully restored, the rooms are incredible and very cozy, their beds are comfortable. I don't want to give away the story behind the beauty of this building but do stay there and ask them for a little tour around. It's absolutely fantastic.

Rooms and Amenities: The rooms are thoughtfully designed with luxurious bedding and modern amenities. The spacious and spotless bathroom came fully equipped with essentials like bathroom flip-flops, dental kits, and a hairdryer, ensuring a comfortable experience. Dining Experience: Although the hotel currently serves only breakfast as they are new to the business, they go above and beyond to assist with ordering and serving lunch or dinner from nearby options. Breakfast was a highlight, served on the rooftop beside the small infinity pool. The setting was serene, complemented by soft music. The meal included a fresh fruit platter, fruit juice, milk rice, chicken with sambol, and a choice of tea or coffee. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were exceptionally supportive and friendly, always ready to assist at any hour. Their attentiveness and willingness to ensure a seamless stay were commendable.

Jungle Village Homestay is amidst thick dense forest and it is apt for people travelling to spend some quality time with nature. The homestay is surrounded by their farm and the owner's mother was very keen on explaining every crop and tree she grows there. I went with my mother and father and they were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the host and this was our first day stay after we landed in lanka. truly a great way to start our Sri Lankan Trip. Thank you very much Mr. Ravi for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos, with a charming and cozy atmosphere. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, especially when we decided to rent a scooter. His support made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Everything about this hotel was amazing, the views are breathtaking taking. The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really care for the guests. Rooms are a great size and clean. There are a lot of bugs but expected as it is in the jungle. The food was absolutely delicious if you want authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The pool is perfect. There is not much to do and it is far away from everything, but absolutely perfect if you just want to relax, which is exactly what I needed.
