Leels Cottage absolutely exceeded our expectations, the cottage really is a luscious private haven and I wouldn’t change a thing. The room is so stylish and the photos don’t do it justice. The safari was absolutely amazing and Leel pulled over a couple of times to collect litter, one piece would have been particularly harmful to the wildlife, which shows his care and commitment to his job and the animals. Leel always maintained a very respectful distance to animals, which worked very much in our favour as one elephant approached us and grazed a metre from the truck. The safari breakfast made by Leel’s wonderful mum and wife was incredible, they really know how to do a picnic breakfast. The dinner we had at Leels was perfect, we could not be more impressed. 10/10 stay

Everything! Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced- and I’ve travelled a lot. Everything was clean. Food was amazing - be sure to eat all meals here if you can. An outdoor shower was a real highlight too. The family could not do enough for us. They even came along on the safari tour with us in case the guide didn’t have good English. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was very kind and welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. They also arranged a safari for us , everything was perfectly organized, our driver was punctual, and the experience was amazing. I can only recommend this place!

Good place, nice host (including the dogs) and good beers and food. Wake up with the sound of the Uwadalewe birds. A great cottage made from wood. You'll feel at home when you enter the homestay. A good place to visit the national park. Book your safari via the homestay. The guide is great.

The rooms were great, heaps of room for a family of four. The people running the property were the kindest, most helpful people. The food was amazing, best so far!

Nice owner. They arranged our safari tour, and the owner joined us at the safari. He managed to see a lot of animals, specific different birds which were almost impossible to discover in the jungle. They also provided a good dinner for us. The breakfast was also very good and fresch. The rooms were clean and comfy.
