The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

Amazing host, showed us a lot, very kind. Took us to tea factory, hike, buddist temple, played cricket, explained a lot of things. Had an amazing time there. Delicius food.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

The location is idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—it truly feels like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The rice and curry were delicious, with generous portions. Such a lovely hotel, everything is even more beautifull in real life than in the pictures. Everything was very clean. And the surroundings are also stunning. The hotel is very close to the Kudawa entrance of the rainforest, where you can hire an official guide for 2500 LKR (entrance is 1250 LKR pp). The overall experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

If you are a nature lover,this is the best place you should be.....I spent some wonderful days at Rainforest Mount Villa. The view and landscape is something special-amazing - the villas are right inside the rain forest!!!! And the balcony on the riverbank it was something I really enjoyed. Sarath - the owner of this lovely place, its an amazing man, an excellent jungle guide, professional, generous, and very friendly. It was really nice days that we experienced and we felt right welcome. Finally, there were great tips for our further trip. When we missed the bus just a little, he even drove it miles behind him, so we still get him.

After a hike through the rainforest with Sunil we were welcomed into his house by the family and Sunil’s wife presented us with a fabulous meal . Similarly , the following morning , after a very early start we hiked in the forest and saw most of the birds we had wanted to see . Sunil is an excellent guide - enthusiastic and very knowledgeable . We were then treated to a great breakfast at Sunil’s house .
