Very friendly staff, a unique spot in the upper hills with a breathtaking view, tasty food, a variety of activities available. The activity we did with Eranda was outstanding. He knows everything about the nature and animals around, he was attentive and made sure that we were happy during our whole stay. The jeep ride to the hotel is extra special!!!

This hotel is simply amazing. It's surrounded by rice fields, mountains, and even has a small waterfall flowing right through the resort – the whole place is stunning and full of peaceful energy. We had a room right by the pool and the mini waterfall. Normally, my husband and I find it hard to really relax, but here we could truly unwind – lying in the hammock, floating in the pool, or just enjoying the view from the lounge. The hotel team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. They took us on a Jeep tour to explore the area and even arranged a private car with a driver for our onward journey. The food was absolutely delicious – we especially recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast! A place to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

The staff was amazing. They ensured my wife and I were very happy Let me first say how accomodating the staff was. The staff at Glenrock ensured that we were well taken care and went above and beyond with extras to ensure we were happy.  Lodging: The lodging was excellent, I slept very well in their comfortable bed and the ceiling fan with the AC was perfect.  Environment: The area and grounds offer a spectacular view from above and below, we did not want to leave, heard a few monkeys on our roof during the night. Food: The dinner was good and the breakfast was plentiful, they did not leave our side and ensured the breakfast on the river was done perfectly. They went out of their way to make us happy. Overall: My team,my wife and I loved "The Glenrock", we will stay again and stay longer next time. Thank you to the entire team

It was very close to Pahanthudawa. The view of the room was noce and the set up was very comfortable for the family. Children enjoyed it. Bandara and Sunil gave a superb service. They are very attentive, kind and friendly.

Located a little down from the Ohia railway station, this accommodation was very mind-blowing and received a very warm welcome with a hot cup of coffee. Very friendly staff with smiling faces. Very nice interior and clean surroundings. They own a restaurant with delicious food and charge a reasonable amount for it.

We loved this place and found it completely by accident - I am so glad we did! Beautiful scenic views and very delicious food. Dulara Silva was the loveliest man and made our stay so fun. Organised loads of activists for us (trekking, kayaking, zip lining and waterfalls) He made sure we were always smiling. All the staff were incredible- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

Awesome owner, so friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. It's quite and good to stay a relaxed night before hiking in Hortons Plain. We also had dinner which was delicious and the owner managed our trip to the national park.

Anyone looking for peace and quiet, or planning to hike through the tea plantations or Horton Plains, will feel completely at home here. We stayed in the wonderful Room No. 1, which offers an absolutely beautiful view over the tea fields. Despite heavy rain, the hosts welcomed us warmly with tea and cake — such a lovely gesture. The dinner at the property was also excellent, especially since there are hardly any restaurants in the area. Mr. Perera gave us great, helpful advice for exploring the region. The location is perfect if you want to hike the Pekoe Trail from Ohiya to Haputale. That’s exactly what we did, sending our luggage by tuk-tuk ahead to our next stay in Haputale.

That’s the best hostel we stayed in Sri Lanka 😊 They organised us a tuk tuk to go to Horton plains for a very reasonable price and you can also eat in the hostel, they serve a big buffet that it’s impossible to finish. The terrace is a nice place to chill and there is birds, lizards and monkeys around. They also very nice family with a friendly dog.
