We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

Wonderful cabins in the forest very quiet and relaxing cool swim in the river. The staff were very kind and helpful when I had a migraine. They made the food more spicy for my husband. The owner is very helpful and interesting to talk too, they have done a great job of keeping the place part of the jungle. They organised a safari for us which was really nice we didn't see too many other jeeps and even managed to see a leopard.

what a fantastic time we spent there!Coming with my 6 years old son and we really felt at home. The staff (Sofrin, Hassan, Rachani) helped us in any way there and did whatever possible to make us confortable. Thanks again guys, we will definitely come back there when we will be in Sri Lanka.

I had a wonderful stay at Wilpattu Nature Resort. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day full of adventure. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious — you can really taste the local flavors. We enjoyed kayaking, lagoon safaris, and an unforgettable camping experience right near the river. The resort also offers access to Wilpattu National Park for a real wildlife safari. There’s even a beautiful little island and two separate camping sites for those who love nature. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for peace, adventure, and great hospitality all in one

If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.
