The hostess is a very nice and pleasant lady. We were here for several days and the breakfasts were a little different each time, beautifully arranged. No stereotype. We had breakfast in the garden overlooking the sea. Across the road is a shop stocked with everything. Swimming is better in the bay to the left of the accommodation, about 1 km, from the Wasana beach hotel. There are not as big waves as along the coast. I recommend Ayurvedic massage & Shirodhara

The staff were incredible, going out of their way to ensure we had a great time and everything we wanted. Property is a bit of a walk from the beach, with a rural outlook. But our hosts drove us where we wanted via tuktuk so it was no hassle. Peaceful and quiet where you can see buffalo, monkeys, fish eagles etc. Nice pool that the kids loved.

Perfect spot on the beach. Clean rooms and super tidy outside. Even for Europa standard. Dont be fooled by the bad looking backside. Not going to live there. This place is amazing. All the staff is super friends! Rooms are for the price super and while we stay there uppgrades was undergoing. The beach outside is 10 meters away and is clean.

Sea Turtles Bungalow is truly one of the best stays in Iduruwa! The bungalow has a beautiful colonial charm, very clean and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The spa is excellent — a wonderful place to unwind and refresh. The atmosphere feels homely yet luxurious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to Iduruwa Beach, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploring. Highly recommended

The tranquility and the birdlife of the location is excellent with the he view over the jungle and gardens and a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The attention to detail in and outside of the apartments is excellent. The rooftop terrace and each apartments' terrace offer another outside sitting experience. Ankie, the owner and her staff member Maheel are perfect hosts, helpful and caring, and not forgetting Nibs, the older of the 2 beautiful dogs, and Benson the young happy pooch! Riding into the inland region instantly brings out the old and traditional Sri Lanka life and the beautiful fauna and flora. Serpent eagles, land monitors, water monitors, buffalo, monkeys et al are passed pass by amongst the happy greetings with wonderful smiles from the locals. Quite a few unique temples and stupas including a monastery are close by. Along the road to the beach is the old and quaint Induruwa train station which adds to the appeal, catch the local commuter train and experience Sri Lanka life. Close by to the quite empty beach, deserted in the early mornings, provides an excellent walk and bathing at the south end of the beach is safe and comfortable. Many small and large restaurants have all manner of food along both the stretch of the beach and roadside. Facility to cook our own food, and the fridge on the rooftop terrace was a great bonus to us. The local bread and roti vendors pass by early morning and their roast paan amongst other breads is available and tasty. Roomy and comfortable apartment with air con, fan, kettle and fridge, mosquito net on the bed and also plug in mosquito repellers. All in all a wonderful 2 week stay.

Lovely hosts, you tell what you need, they fix it or at least advise you honestly. For extra services like lunch or tuk tuk or beer, they charge the fair price. If you have a question, or worry, feel free to let them know. We were traveling with 2 children : 2yr and 4yr old and we felt super taken care of 🤗 beach is just behind the property, place is quiet. A quiet little hotel away from the hustle and bustle, lovely clean little pool. Two rooms and two villas (I stayed in the villa and it's spacious, clean and very comfortable). Fully equipped kitchen, brand new AC...small balcony but there's ample room under the pagoda next to the pool to hang out. The background tunes are nature.. Beautiful bird life, water Buffalo's it's so peaceful... The owner is in contact whenever required and the young lad looking after the premises is a nice lad. 15 min walk to the bus stop if you don't have wheels. Fabulous place.

A typical small town with its own charm.

A typical small town with its own charm. The people are smiling and welcoming. Compared to its larger neighbors, it's much cleaner! The beach is large and clean. There aren't many people, which I think is a good thing.

What a great place to stay! A very large and comfortable room, friendly hosts, and almost beach top but with the bonus of a small bit of vegetation [about 50 metres] separating you from the sands through which runs a nice little footpath. The beach here is less rough than further East [where I have stayed before] so the swimming is more relaxed. I found this place by accident when another booking I had made was cancelled but it would certainly be my first choice next time around.

Very clean, friendly host and staff Nothing was too much trouble Very comfortable Close to everything local train station, local shop, stunning beach and the sister Beach Club restaurant, excellent service, delicious food plus a 10% discount on food for Apartment guests and free sun beds ! What more could you want ! Thank you for making our stay happy and memorable

Great location right next to a beautiful beach. Nearby there are shops, restaurants and transport. Nice owner, very helpful and friendly. He organized transport for us to Colombo. He cared very much about the guests. Always ready to help. We felt very good there.
