I was incredibly happy with my stay, it was very clean, beutifully designed, very nice staff, quick and cheap room service, nice facilities and overall good stay. Also as a woman travelling alone a perfect stay. Good food also and nice fresh fruit juices.

We had a good breakfast. Quiet , clean and tidy room with comfortable bed. Host was friendly, helpful and always went extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable . Staff were very helpful.

It’s a newly opened place. Nice pool and clean rooms. Staff were great. Especially Shafraz & the guy with glasses who was very helpful and always smiling and greeting. Overall good experience and good value for money. Close to the beach.

The staff at La Maison really went above and beyond. From greeted arrivals with welcome drinks to attentive and friendly staff at the restaurant. Chamara in particular was an excellent concierge. He booked appointments for me at the local spa (Noelines is great!) organised transfers and provided helpful recommendations. The hotel is a green oasis in busy Colombo. I enjoyed lounging by the pool and slept in the most comfortable bed. The location was safe so I felt comfortable walking to other cafes, restaurants and ATMs on my own. The owner Christophe is very passionate about his hotel and will happily answer questions or give you a tour. There are seven rooms at La Maison each with their own French theme. Finally I’d recommend the cheese platter which is actually made up of French imported French cheeses!

The staff are amazing. I was a little late for breakfast one morning, so they delivered it to my room and then went and got a coffee for me. Yes, it seems a little gesture, but was greatly appreciated.

Very nice clean place with good bathroom. Close to beach, just cross the train tracks and you’re there. Nice beach restaurants close on walking distance. Outside busy part of Colombo. Would surely recommend this place, Dominique and his assistants did a great job.
