From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests. The level of attentiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the team was truly remarkable. The dining experience at Casa Heliconia was a culinary delight. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Very nice, clean and cosy room with incredibly nice, friendly and helpful hosts. The dinner was so delicious! All the vegetables come from their organically grown garden, freshly picked and cooked with fresh herbs and tasty spices. Very much recommended to stay here!

The setting was idyllic. Very quiet, we had the whole bungalow to ourselves and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It was very interesting to read about the history of Comilla Bungalow and the information pack about the area was very informative. The birdsong at dawn was wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was large and water hot. We enjoyed chatting to one of the staff and he was a great person to have in the hospitality industry, so attentive - a real asset to Comilla. The dinner was good although it was cold. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Beautiful mansion in the middle of greenery with centennial trees overshading the house and pool. Perfect location for digital detox: no TV, no A/C, but the nature sounds and cooling canopy provide for better views, sounds and breeze. The swimming pool and adjacent patio are awesome for after dips and drinks. Just bear in mind to bring mosquito repellent as in all locations in this area.

We booked this place on the day we stayed and what a gem of a find! The facilities were very comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom with a semi outdoor shower. My kids loved the shower heads! The breakfast cooked was beautiful. We had the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers and curries and it was devine. Then my children had fruit & French toast. The son or manager then showed us around their wonderful garden. My children absolutely adored it and were so excited to see monkeys on our way out.
