The hotel owner, Enrico, is a super friendly guy who genuinely cares about his guests, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment. Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.

The staff at the nine are incredible, every single person we met. I wish we had asked for more names, but every single person was AMAZING. So caring and attentive. Myself and my partner Haran, will be back and we will bring our Family and Friends. The location is amazing, the staff amazing, the food amazing. This place deserves the success it will get because everyone works so hard to make it special. We had regular sightings of Monkeys and Peacocks which just made it more special. Well done guys on such an amazing place and for giving us such special memories, see you next year!

Everything was perfect about this place. We wanted to stay few more nights but they did not have available rooms unfortunately. New, clean rooms, good location, nice breakfast, hot water, good wifi. Rooms as pictured on booking.com. Higly recommended!

Such a quiet hotel close to everything and to the beach with its surfing spots. We loved the spacious rooms and very clean swimming pool. It was so practical to be there with children. We will come back!

In famous tourist areas, people tend to rip off foreigners...

In famous tourist areas, people tend to rip off foreigners just by looking at them, but this area wasn't as bad, and I was able to experience the peaceful, authentic Sri Lanka. Even early in the morning or late at night, small shops were open, so there was no shortage of food and drink, and it felt like a peaceful coastal village. There were some inconveniences, such as power outages due to the cyclone, but I think that was unavoidable. I was glad I had my mobile battery charged. To make this area a safer and more secure place to stay in the future, I hope that the local community will cooperate in improving infrastructure, language skills, separating waste for environmental protection, and cleaning and maintaining tourist attractions.
