You can also rely on him for great recommendations on the best restaurants and other nice spots. Thank you for making our stay amazing! Everything about The Find was great! The room was spacious with plenty of room to store your things, and the interior looked exactly like in the pictures (just a note that not all rooms have a hammock). The views from the balcony overlooking the ocean were absolutely stunning. You can also enjoy sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though the hotel is located next to the main road, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The beach is right next to the hotel, and you can swim directly from the property, just be mindful of the rocks. And there's of course pool as well. And as a bonus, I had the best coffee and coconut of my whole trip here! The hotel truly stands out from the rest – super chill vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and just an all-around amazing atmosphere. Miles has done a fantastic job creating this space. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️

Very beautiful stay with the most lovely people!! The pool is very nice, and the views are amazing. The rooms are big, clean and the shower is very nice (and hot!). It's not too far to walk to the center and the beach, but the location of Sapiens Home is quiet en peaceful. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is more than welcoming and kind, where they helped us when there were stray dogs in the street and we could not get passed them and made me feel special on my birthday with cake, a board and congratulations. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Everywhere you look is absolutely breathtaking. The people who work there are just lovely and make you feel very welcome and well taken care of. I didn’t want to leave the property but Ahangama is amazing and you should be explored. All in all - wonderful stay and I would go back in a second!

Amazing home stay with kind family, best breakfast on our trip, beautiful room & bathroom and a nice pool to cool down. They also rent bikes and scooters, organise rooftop yoga, do laundry... So you have everything you need in one spot in a nice and quiet location near Kabalana beach.
