We stayed in a bungalow in a beautiful garden. It is a very calm and quiet place you will appreciate especially after visiting busy towns. The friendly owners are ready to give you information and help you with anything. They prepared a lovely breakfast with lots of fruits for us every morning, booked a safari tour and a transport to next destination for us. The bungalow has a water heater, both AC and a fan, a patio where you can relax and watch various birds, chipmunks, peacocks and you can even see a crocodile in the lake. Django the dog will visit you time to time. Take a tuktuk and go to the beach, you can also visit the temple. Several small shops and two restaurants in short walking distance but you can also order your dinner and the hosts will prepare it for you. If we ever happen to visit Srí Lanka again, we would definitely come back!

This was an amazing stay. I had breakfast dinner and lunch at some stage over the 3 days and the food was fantastic. They also arranged a tuk tuk to take me to RED Restaurant Tissamaharama on my last evening after a nice swim in the pool that afternoon. I also slept very well here and the room amenities were great. Such lovely people working there too. Thank you for a great stay!

Shehan was such a welcoming host and couldn't do enough for us. He was very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed no matter what time of day it was. His cooking is exceptional. Definitely the best food we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. The setting is absolutely beautiful. So tranquil and close to the beach. You can hear the sounds of the waves and see some lovely local wild life. This is a must stay if visiting Sri Lanka!

A good place to stay if you are planning on doing a safari in Yala as it is not far away from the national park. The owner has his own safari truck and we booked a day tour with him. It was a fantastic experience! The facilities are good the family are very welcoming.

A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for a visit to the National Park should consider staying at Tringa and booking the tour with them as they will make sure you have a great experience.

The family were lovely and so welcoming. We appreciate the small extra things that our host did for us The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was tidy. The bed was comfortable and there was an outdoor verandah area as well Our meals were generous, tasty and well priced. It is close to beaches and the village centre. Local bus stand is about 300 metres away. This is a great place just to chill for a few days. Highly recommended

This was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The host family are lovely, going out of their way to assist where they can. The bungalow is large and very comfortable, the pool was fantastic after a big day. The hosts organised a safari for us including breakfast to take along. They had a small menu for dinner each night, all of which was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan food. The accommodation is only a short walk down to beach.

Santha and his family were so lovely and warm. The location is great for safari and checking out some of the beautiful beaches nearby that are basically empty. We did the safari with Santha too and loved it. We are both ecologists and Santha was very knowledgable about all the animals and also knew all the tricks for getting the best out of the safari without the 4am start! Highly recommend

Very nice and new facilities just next to the beach. The host was very friendly and responsive. We also did the safari with him, he explained the animals and answered to our questions. He also arranged packed breakfast and lunch for us. He showed us around in the area and drove us to non-touristy beaches where locals would swim. The room was very clean and comfortable.
