Nice staff. Super charming building, really authentic, once owned by Queen Elizabeth's accountant. There's a picture of the Queen visiting the place. The hotel has a nice pool and beautiful aesthetics.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The views have to be experienced in person. Lovely staff that goes above and beyond to meet your needs. They arranged a cooking class for us during our stay which was lovely. Will definitely come back in the future.

We had a wonderful experience here. This place is calm and relaxing, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel is well-maintained, with clean and beautifully kept surroundings. The prices were very reasonable. This is a pretty new property located in a privileged area with an incredible view. The rooms are super beautiful as you can see in the pictures. We found it a perfect place to spend the night after visiting the Elephant Freedom Project which is few minutes away. They also have an infinity pool with a great view on the terrace where you can also enjoy breakfast in the morning if weather allows. They also provide dinner/lunch and the menu has a big variety of different kinds of food for a very fair price. We tasted it and it was amazing. The manager was very attentive of our needs and did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

The hotel is in a stunning location and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and everyday a different Sri Lanka meal. The hotel has still a lot of the original furniture and old colonial feeling.

Large clean room. Ac, Tv, hot water. Balcony where you could watch the elephants walk by on the way to the river to bathe. That was a great experience to watch the elephants a few feet from the Balcony and also a couple of minutes walk to watch them bathe.

Very clean, spacious room, big bathroom, only there’s no hot hot water but it was ok of taking quick shower, comfortable bed, AC, very close to river where elephants taking a shower. Across the street is elephant orphanage. Sri Lankan breakfast very tasty.

Wonderful experience. Elephants at your fingertips. The air-conditioned rooms are comfortable, with a large terrace overlooking the river. Good breakfast in the neighboring hotel. Everything is great, I recommend it.
