Stayed for a full month. This place is an absolute steal for that price! So serene! I felt so at peace! Woke up to stunning lakeside view every morning. The room and bathroom was gorgeous and clean. The local family live onsite and always accessible, they were so helpful. Their restaurant wasn’t operating yet but they let me use their kitchen which was so helpful for a long term stay. A short scooter ride of the main road which means it strikes the perfect balance of being accessible but also quiet and nature immersive.

Everything about our stay at CoViva was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. We loved the comfortable amenities and the wonderful atmosphere. It was a truly delightful experience in every way.

Best hotel in the area and in all south Sri lanka. It's a brand new hotel with a stunning modern Sri Lankan design. It's located in a small quite village between Wiligama and Midigama, a walk distance from the Fishermen beach and very reachable from the main road. The owner of the place is simple amazing, always carring for his tenants. This hotel made my vacation way much better than it was.

Animals Ahangama is an absolute gem. The boutique design is stunning — cozy, stylish, and full of character. It truly feels like a home away from home. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The staff are wonderful — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. You can really feel the care they put into making your stay special. I loved every moment here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, feel-good stay in Ahangama.

Beautiful modern property in a great location close to 2 fantastic beaches and a few minutes walk to Secret Beach. We met James (and Lou) the owner and their friends who happened to be staying at the same time. We were welcomed to a ‘family feel’ environment and told to help ourselves to drinks and to join in on the daily on site yoga. The pool area was really relaxing and beautiful with the pool being the perfect temperature. We felt more like we were leaving a few days with friends than staying at accommodation. We were given great recommendations of places close by to dine (and there were plenty). The chef (sadly I have forgotten his name) was so lovely and helpful and engaging. We really enjoyed our chats with him and he was obviously also a talented chef. Breakfast was always lovely and the timing of it very flexible. We really enjoyed our 3 days here.
