While the meals took a bit longer to prepare, the freshness and quality were well worth the wait. The staff at Subaseth Villa went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their willingness to assist with any request, from room service to arranging tours, truly exemplified their dedication to hospitality. Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

Beautiful location, a little off the beaten track. Rooms very big and the bed so comfortable. Staff were really lovely and the food amazing. We stayed an extra night. There is a lovely pool too. Comms via whats app was great and really responsive

By far the best accomodation we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel is actually more a villa with only few rooms available, which makes it very private and calm. Everything about this place is stunning and one feels that every detail was thoughtfully designed. The hosts Siri and Chathurika were very friendly and made our stay something really special. Siri even gave us a private tour through the temples and ruins of Anuradhapura. It was all topped off by the fantastic food they prepared for us. Staying at Arachchi was one of the highlights of our trip, and would come back to Sri Lanka just to stay some more days :) we cannot recommend this place enough!
