Everything It exceeded all our expectations the room was so cool. This place has only been open 7 months and he has plans to build self contained units above the current property. With only 3 rooms and a 6 bed apartment it's a lovely cozy place. It's very remote and so peaceful.

The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.

I’ve been traveling in Sri Lanka for three weeks, and Crown Regency is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It’s not far from the bus station, with a market and supermarket nearby. The best part is you don’t need to worry about finding a restaurant—the rooftop restaurant’s food is incredibly delicious, and the breakfast is hearty. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and locals often dine there too. I even met some friendly locals at the restaurant who took me around Badulla. The hotel is in a quiet alley with stunning mountain views, beautiful in both rain and shine. The price is very affordable, yet the service feels like a five-star hotel. Vinishya, in particular, went out of her way to show me a wedding venue hosted at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable—I’d say cleaner than many four-star hotels. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly, and the hot water in the bathroom is reliable. The Wi-Fi is a bit unstable, but I managed fine with my phone’s network. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Thank you, Crown Regency, for providing such high-quality accommodation for travelers. This is my honest review.

Second time I stay here as I haven’t found something similar in Badulla. Calm place a bit out of the centre. Anyway, they have their tuktuk that gets you in the city and comes to pick you up when you call them - at a fixed price. Kitchen is OK, haven’t tried a lot though. The place is generally well maintained, clean, and the staff is pleasant.

The accommodation is wonderful, from its wild setting to the extremely welcoming hosts and the activities they offered (like swimming in a local, non-touristy mountain river and visiting the 'mini World's End'). I can only speak in superlatives. This is by far the best value for money I have ever come across. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"
