EVERYTHING! it is a small hotel, located in a remote area, quiet, on the lake. The room was big, with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with both shower and tub. The terrace of the room offers spectacular view over the pool and lake. The food was very good, we ate here breakfast, lunch and dinner and we liked all meals! It offers an a la carte menu which we liked very much, we were sick of buffet style ... We tried also the massages, which were pretty nice as well. Last but not least, the personnel was very kind, attentive and always happy to help you with anything you want. They offer you a personal butler which is available anytime for you at a ring distance (they even give you a phone to call him directly when you need anything).

Everything was amazing. We stayed in the suite, it was so beautiful, huge room and terrace with amazing views! The pictures don’t do justice to this place, it is way more beautiful. Our kids stayed in a normal room, it was small but comfortable and clean. The staff is simply wonderful, always ready do help and always kind and happy. The food was really, really good.

The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. Amazing little paradise. Very nice and helpful staff and the best place to have a few relaxing days. You habe to be mindful of the fact that it is quite a way to Kandy city center, but we loved the fact that after a day in and around the hectic city we could return to a refreshing and peaceful retreat.

We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children that booked three rooms at Bellwood. I had initially booked the hotel for the stunning views it offers, unfortunately we stayed during a cyclone. Despite this we had an amazing stay at Bellwood and it has become one of my personal favourite hotels of our stay. The hotel is beautiful with lovely large bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The staff were extremely fun and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is a an extra journey from Kandy but worth the extra travel for its quiet picturesque location. The journey to and from the hotel adds to the experience of visiting Sri Lanka

What a villa. Just woow..it was full of experience here. I was not expecting a high quality service from here. The experience i had here is unbelievable. The rooms were very clean calm and quiet. The rooms were in a full villa. beautiful villas with private swimming pool. highly recommended for big family or group.
