It’s a pity we discovered this place only at the end of our trip, as we decided to stay here the night before our departure. Located 15–20 minutes from the airport, this spot is truly delightful. We had an exceptional stay at Uga Riva. This hotel is top quality; a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms, quality linnen, great bathrooms, fabulous food… We arrived drenched from the rain and the staff immediately made us feel comfortable with hot tea and towels. They were extremely helpful and kind, and really helped bring the quality of our stay to the next level. A special thank you goes to Lahiru, Kumara, Yasith and Upul: they deserve a raise!

Mr Basil and Mr. Priya on arrival were very welcoming and friendly. Caring about how my fought had gone and making sure the check in process was quick and efficient. During my stay Mr. Basil was very conscious and attentive that my stay was good and comfortable. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Mr. Basil and was always keen to help done with a smile and a kind word. I have to mention the food, both breakfast and dinner prepared by Mrs. Lathi. Both were of excellent quality and very delicious. I went for Sri Lankan breakfast which was a great choice. Tasty, plentiful and very well prepared. The first nights dinner was some of the best tasting food I have eaten in sometime. Mrs. Lathi’s dhal was out of this world. Thank you. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Top hospitality! Owners and sfat were super nicd with me: I was suppose to leave Sri Lanka and they let me keep the room also in the afternoon (despite check out was at 11 am) Location very closed tk the sea and you can visit market also by walking. Rooms are wonderful, with everythjng you need and also very nice. Breakfast is vedy good (fruit, eggs, toast, tea) Thanks again for the lovely time!
