Just everything. Really nice apartment, specially equipped for western turists, with hair dryer, toilet brush, drinking water, big room and bathroom, with big patio in front of the room, plus swimming pool. What else can you wish more. It was the best experience during my trip in Sri Lanka. Big bonus was also Janaka, resort manager who organized Safari in Yala for us.

Randi, the young host and owner is just amazing. He takes care of this place with the help of his family with great passion which can be seen in the quality and cleanliness of the rooms and other facilities. He will guide you all around his place, around the nearby lake, around the small town, show you some nice animals and plants, explain the history, ... Next morning he decided to take us on a tour of the nearby National park and showed us wild animals, museum, ... Totally for free. Staying at his place is more of a experience than just an overnight sleep. If you are nearby, I totally recommend visiting.

This is by far the most amazing experience we had with accommodation in Sri Lanka. I cannot stress how important it is to stay here. The family that host are the warmest most kindest people. Do not bother eating in the town which has average restaurants, the food they make here is delicious, clean & so cheap. What a spread ! The owner is super helpful & also took us on a free cruise around the lake. We learnt a lot from him about how the locals live etc. He also gave us space if we needed it, it’s completely up to you. Rooms are lovely, spotless & big with an insane view. Also make sure you book your Safari from here. Our guide had been touring for 10+ years & was amazing with the animals. I could go go on forever ha !
