We were very pleasantly surprised for the price we paid!! Very clean tidy place, very good bed we had amazing sleep, best shower we had so far in all of Sri Lanka, very nice young man helping us with everything you ask for, very good food in big portions!! Nothing bad to say here I would very much recommend. Also because the bungalow is made out of clay, it’s quite cool!

Truly beautiful property run by such a lovely, friendly family. The food they served for dinner and breakfast was probably the best we had during our 10 days tour around Sri Lanka., Rooms are huge, clean and well maintained, pool is really big and clean . . . We could not ask for more.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay! For Sri Lanka, this was exceptionally high-standard accommodation — new, spotlessly clean, and it really gives off hotel vibes. The pool is amazing — large, beautifully maintained, and lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The owner is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — always available, incredibly friendly, smiling, and genuinely helpful. He even accompanied us to the bus stop on our departure day and stopped the bus for us, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious. Very unique and beautiful accommodation, they put so much effort into every detail of the room. Only one room on the whole property and it's gorgeous, especially the floating bed and net terrace under all the trees. Very kind, warm and welcoming family. Would 10/10 recommend staying here in the Udawalawe area.
