Harry was super kind during our stay at Afenta. Nothing was too much and he offered us tasty restaurants and gave us good tips for the area. Mihintale is also a beautiful village with beautiful nature.

The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to reach. The hospitality of the staff was excellent - they were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The place is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious with a nice variety of options to choose from. I would happily recommend it to others.

I can assure you that this is the B&B with the best hospitality in the world. First, the room is nice and we love the balcony to work or chill out. And the food was awesome. We stayed 10 days here and the family served us a different meal each time (always plenty of dishes). We loved what they cooked for us (they made them less spicy for us and cooked papaya juice especially for me who love it every day for breakfast). The dogs are cute and friendly. And best of all, Kapila-san and his family are so kind and helpful. We could feel relaxed when I came back to this house, and spend happily with them. It was a very heartwarming experience. My wife and I were so impressed with his benevolent personality and hospitality that we fell in love with this country even more because of the time we spent here.

I had a lovely stay at Residence by Amaya. The place is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely love to come back!

We loved the quiet location of this affordable riverside villa, among the rice paddies. Only a few minutes stroll to a main road with lots of tuktuks and buses to take us to major sights, restaurants and shopping. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds, on demand hot water, satellite tv, good wifi and electric kettle. Delightful owner Hashan prepared delicious low sodium breakfasts and dinners for us at a reasonable cost. He was exceptionally helpful in meeting all our needs, including laundry, cell phone repair, transfers, a tour of the ancient city, and a trip to view wildlife in the national park. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful neighbourhood, recommended if you need to refresh and need time for yourself and being undisturbed. Vipassana center is near so perfect before/after the 10days course. It is way out of my budget but I had to find a place where I can get better as I got a bit sick and despite it was a bit expensive for my budget as a solo traveller, I did not regret coming. The host is super nice, great breakfast and dinner is at a very reasonable price. There are temples to visit around, I can imagine this place is super for a couple. Room is super nice, huge and comfy beds. There is kettle and fridge in the room.
