This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

The team at Raalmadu resort are by far the most accommodating and caring family of amazing people I have ever met. I've travelled the world far and wide for my job over the last 10 years and I've never met a group of people so lovely, so warm, so welcoming, so accomodating and kind. The owner even picked me up personally in his car and drove me 3 hours out to the resort when he found out there was an issue with the organised driver and checked in with me regularly during my stay to make sure all was okay. The resort itself sits on the very edge of the national park and you feel completely immersed in nature, so much so that you can even see elephants right at the resort itself! They come to drink at the pond at the end of the property and cross the river at times too. The food at the resort is also amazing!!! They prepare it fresh for you every meal and they cater to whatever you're feeling like and offer an amazing authentic Sri Lankan cuisine experience . The room is beautiful too and has everything you could need while enjoying the bliss of the jungle. I was even lucky enough to spot a leopard on my safari in Wilpattu. It's so rare to find an authentic gem like this is today's world, where everything is personal, thoughtful, and completely surrounded by nature. I'll be coming back again, not just once or twice, but many times!!! My kind heart felt thank you again Raalmadu, I left my stay feeling like family! See you all again soon!!!

Stay was excellent and the staff was very nice from the start of my visit, the room / location was exceptional as its was so close to the Wilpattu national park. During meals we had many options to choose from and the meals were prepared with good quality ingredients as i felt the freshness and difference in the dishes. There was also ample parking available which was great.!!! :) Free Wifi :) :) :)

Set within the forest it is an oasis of calm. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The accommodation is quirky, fairly basic but comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful. There are a number of activities and excursions available, or you can simply relax on your veranda up in the trees. There are a number of chill out zones.

what a fantastic time we spent there!Coming with my 6 years old son and we really felt at home. The staff (Sofrin, Hassan, Rachani) helped us in any way there and did whatever possible to make us confortable. Thanks again guys, we will definitely come back there when we will be in Sri Lanka.

We were are very lucky to choose Koddu. It’s absolutely new hotel in a very beautiful and quiet place. We were very first guests there. It’s really 5 star service!!! All staff was full of hospitality!!! Managers - Mr. Bhathiya , Anuradha. Waiters- Suranga and Tarushi!!! Thank you guys!!! Chief Mahinde and his cuisine was absolutely amazing!!! Hotel situated near to Duotone kite station. It’s very comfortable if you do kiting like we are. I’ll definitely will come back!!!
