I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around. Location, view, cleanliness extremely friendly sevice especially Mr Shaam operation manager who invited us for complimentary high tea as it was Eid day also provided snacks for travelling back to Colombo. Everything was great! We were given the most luxurious room they had with a great view of the tea plantations and the city. The room was clean, cozy, hot water and good Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was bitten by a leech when I was walking around the plantations. I was immediately helped. Be sure to wear closed shoes if you are going to walk around the plantations.

The house and the views on tea plantation are wonderful, the furniture and the decor are incredibly authentic! Everything is very clean and the place is comfortable. We appreciated the chance to chill and relax in the living room with a cup of tea kindly offered by the staff. The whole staff (from the manager to the chef) are extremely friendly and kind, they spolied us with free tea, coffee and delicious meals. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are going to visit nuwara Eliya area.

Had a very good time in Cottage San francesco. Without a doubt the best stay of our Sri Lanka trip. Special thanks to the Asitha and his team who made the stay memorable. A big shout out to Sandishkar who was available for every request. The rooms were spacious and clean. The property is well maintained with a fantastic view of the valley. The breakfast was excellent with a wide spread. We also had dinner which was freshly prepared and served. Overall a very serene, peaceful stay. Would highly recommend this stay if you visit Nuwara Eliya. Excellent property, Great food! Great Service and Fantastic people! All the best!
